HGPS pupils past and present made us all so very proud at the Times Tables Rock Star Wangle today!
150 Year 6 and Year 7 pupils from schools across the North of England were selected to take part in this prestigious Maths tournament.
The competition consisted of Qualifiers (heats) followed by a Quarter Final, a Semi Final and a Grand Final. The Qualifiers were multiplication-only 60 second rounds beginning with just the 2s, then the 3s and so on up to the 12s.
Our children were FANTASTIC 'rock stars' and were wonderful ambassadors for HGPS and Leeds!
Congratulations to Nabil Karimi, one of our past students (now at Cockburn) who was crowned the ultimate winner!
