If people need assistance, we encourage them to try the Welfare Support Scheme first, but if that can't be arranged, please email a referral to mary@leedsfoodaidnetwork.co.uk with the details below:
Your name and organisation
The person's name, address and phone number
How many people are in the household
Any dietary requirements
Brief reason why the person / family is in financial need.

Signposting

This is a link to the news section of our website, where we will be putting the latest updates about the food provision that is available and which services are closed / running in a different way. Feel free to share this link widely.

Please note that the information on any of the updates we give may change very quickly. However, the signposting document at the top of the page is a Googe Doc that we will aim to update each day where possible.

Please send details of any changes to your food provision services through to Mary on mary@leedsfoodaidnetwork.co.uk and do let us know if there are particular areas of need that you think need addressing.

Community Care Volunteering - individuals

If you're healthy and low risk, you can sign-up to become a Community Care Volunteer and help others in Leeds.

The programme is designed so that people can sign-up to volunteer in a range of different roles, depending on availability and preference. Volunteers can sign-up to offer practical support for vulnerable people (such as shopping deliveries, preparing meals, making check-in phone calls) or can sign-up as an informal volunteer to help within their own neighbourhood in more general ways. Here is a poster.

Community Care Volunteering - groups

Voluntary Action Leeds, working in partnership with Leeds City Council have released their partner pack for organisations, groups and businesses engaging with the Community Care Volunteering scheme.
